Bill Poulos has been trading the markets since 1974. He is a retired auto executive who holds a BSc in Economic Engineering, and a Master's degree in Business Administration, with a major in Finance.
In his over thirty years of trading experience, Bill has developed many trading systems and techniques. In 2001, he formed Profits Run, Inc. To communicate his trading experience and knowledge to other people so they could shortcut their learning curve and eventually possibly skyrocket their takings in the markets.
Bill Poulos does not believe in automated Forex Trading: "If you choose to rely on a computer to make most of your trading decisions, then you don't learn how to become a trader, in fact, you never will. Instead of evolving as a trader, you learn how to follow the directions. Automated Trading can be extremely dangerous to your trading portfolio. Why? Well, almost every system I've seen since early 70th has been back-tested and curve-fit. What does it mean? IT means that every system will ultimately fail, or, at least, not perform up to its past or promissed results. And that is the FACT."
